Whats with the lack of size 0 pants everywhere?

so I went to the mall with my friend today and it seemed like there where a lot fewer size 0s around than usual. It really sucked because that's my size and all the pants were too big on me. Anyway i was complaining about it and my friend said that she had heard this thing about how some people have started this "no size 0" phenomenon or something. what have you heard about this? and am I the only one who finds this unfair?

Im a size one too and so are lots of other people. But most People are typically a size 2 to 5. Its like years ago all they had was zeros now that they realize that its not realistic for everyone they take them all away, its like its zeros or not. Just try going to stores like Urban Behavior ( If yours isn't closing) and if you can afford it Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle Charlotte Russe, or Forever 21 Also try Hydrolics brand jeans they don't usually come in size 0 but a 3 will fit like a zero and they are really long. Keep Looking, You'll find something good!

ive never heard of this and i have 2 frend that are size 0 and they find sizes just find. maybe alot of ppl jus bought tht size cause its needed so yea. and i think if younger kids for example went to the same store you went to, they might need size 0 so that could be a reason why stores are always out of them

I have the exact same problem, and if they really do stop making zeros, I'll go pantless cuz I can't seem to put on any weight! Well good luck, and hope u find some. I got stuck buying a size one!

Shops are under pressure because if they stock size '0' as you call it in america, they get accused of promoting losing weight for fashion purposes. Try baby GAP.

omg god i'm a size 0 too and i just got paid at my job.... so i went shopping n i couldn't find any size 0 pants eather it is totally unfair.... i think they took them out because they thought fat girls couldn't pick what to wear in stores like that so they pushed up the sizes....don't they realize that we need pants as well!!!!!!!!!!!!

go to Express stores, they always have size Zero, where do you live, I don't see it happening in NY, size zero is still here, 00 was eliminated I think.

Well, that is really stupid. Some people are skinny and they need to wear clothes that fit. I, for example, wear a size 00-0 depending on the pants.

Try shopping at stores like Anchor Blue, American Eagle and 5.7.9 that carry very small sizes.

im a size 0 and if that is happening i find that unfair too.

some people are that size...NATURALLY. people need to realize.

im lanky and if that happens its gunna be hard work putting on weight just for some pants.

That's ridiculous. No size zero phenomenon? If people want to ban size zero, they have got some serious self esteem problems.

Maybe it's because the stores you went to just don't have a lot of size 0s lately! Don't think it's for a specific reason.

I have this problem too i wear a size 0 and sometimes one so today at the mall i foun these really cute skinny jeans that were a size 14 in kids they were really nice so try doing this

I think your friend is joking or something.  That's a common size, especially with younger girls starting school and college.  I would check back in the stores as often as you can.  As they replenish the stock other people that size will be looking for them too.  You may even try ebay if you know for sure that's your size and try and order the brand you like and are familiar with.  My sister is a size 0, but finds that sometimes she wears a double 0.  Good luck!
