In the new wendy's commerical they say that it is not fast food. However, last time I checked wendys was fast food. Are they trying to make it seem as though wendys is actually healthy for you? I WANT SOME ANSWERS...

  1. LOL, that reminds me... I think they have this other commercial where there's 2 dudes, and one of the guys hands are super tiny and he's all sad cuz he cant hold the burger with his hands and his friend is like dude, i'll hold the burger for you.... I thought it was funny when I saw it, but i was also a little drunk so there you have it

  2. wendy's is equivalent to poison.

  3. all they probably want is your money. you know fast food is bad, they are trying to convince people to think it's NOT fast food.

  4. I like their chili.

  5. IDK my BFF Jill. he he

  6. "It's better than fast food" Is what they say. Which is stupid.

Wendy's has really dumb marketing tactics. The best one lately has been the guy in the Wendy's wig screaming "HOT JUICY BURGER" but that's about it.

  7. They get their burgers delivered fresh to the store daily. They arent frozen.

They are attempting to redefine what fast food is, since it's not a regulated term.  Zaxby's, a southeast chain, makes your food to order and calls you when it's ready with a buzzer.

Zaxby's claims not to be fast food and has done so for at least a year now.

Hardee's is also doing something similar.

It's a shift in the industry away from the 'fast food nation' idea.  They have seen declines with the rise of organics and popular documentaries coming to light about how bad 'fast food' is for you.

They are attempting to rebrand themselves, but have a very long way to go to do that.

    Arby's is now 'Fresh Market'.

To me, I define fast food as a place with a drive-thru, angry employees, a menu board, where 95% of the food is taken to go, a place with value meals, and where most of the food is toxic.

I'd consider Subway and Dominos fast food as well.

They have to have the whole operation dummy proof, so they can sell the franchises out and have consistency.  It's not just 'fast food' from storefront to consumer, it's fast food from corporation/warehouse to individual stores/franchises.

The food quality will remain low as the quanitity of food outweighs any need for quality.  As the prices are low, people go there. If prices went up, people would seek out a better tasting option.

  8. theyre trying to imply that it's more of a restaurant, since their meat is "fresh never frozen" and so it's supposed to taste better. theyre not trying to say it's healthy by any means because obviously its not.

  9. Wendy's is weird...I stopped going there when they refused to continue being a sponsor for the Ellen Degeneres Show only because she came out to the public as a L*****n.

  10. all this talk about food is making me hungry
