Whats with the whole 'polygamist' deal?

can somebody PLEASE explain it to me?

You can live with as many women as you want as long as you aren't married to them legally. Thats what they do to get around the law.

As yet, there is no proof of anything the posters above me are whining about.

How many women you live with is not a matter of law.

There have been no charges of rape, statutory rape, molestation or anything else.

The Texas Police have admitted that the "phone call" was a hoax.

Now they are "fishing" for something, ANYTHING to charge someone with.

They have violated these peoples civil rights and have lost any case they get evidence for.

If the children were molested, they can no longer convict anyone because they don't have probable cause.

polygamists believe they will go to h**l if they don't have multiple wives. They tend to marry very young girls and in the process commit statutory rape. Polygamy is illegal in every state, but it is hard to prosecute because they have to prove that the man is living with more than one woman as his wife.

in a so called "free country" a group of completely perverted people decided to create a religion, so they wouldnt be blamed for their s*x perversion. then you just simply say "god told me to have s*x with a child" and they'll put you in the mental hospital.
