I'm South African and I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying we're racist? Or are you talking about the fact that we're very aware of the whole apartheid thing and how much South Africa has suffered because of it?

Because either way, people's reasons are their own and don't need to be justified to you.

Okay, racism makes me so angry, that's why I wrote what I said above this. I've never been able to physically understand it. But sometimes I think maybe it's done out of fear, you know? I mean, the fear of someone being so different to you (I'm talking about white racism against blacks).

But for racial segregation to occur in SA, an African country, I cannot comprehend it. I realize there is a huge stigma attached to the country due to it's big economy teamed with the amout of underprivileged people in the place, but I have never understood the reasons behind this racial division.

There's a poem called Nothing's Changed and I think it is a tragic truth behind the place. You should look it up online.

I just hope that someday soon, the whole thing is rectified and the South African people understand that this fact the country is made up of two colors is one so trivial considering the amount of need Africa is displaying in other areas of it's existence (poverty, etc).

You see Mugabe has stuffed up his own country so bad that all his people are fleeing for their lives to neighbouring countries, mostly South Africa. This is because SA still has a reasonable economy compared to Zimbabwe and other countries like it. Compared to the Western world SA's economy is shot to h**l but Zimbabwe's is 100 times worse.

The foreigners went to SA looking for work or some form of income to send back to their families that are still in their home country. There were an estimated 3 million Zimbabweans fleeing in SA at one point, now that has decreased as they have fled home once again.

The South Africans go sick of the foreigners (Nigerians, Zimbabwean, Malawians, Zambians and Mozambicans etc) taking their jobs because they are so desperate they will work for next to nothing and then exchange the Rand when they return home giving them so much more money than they could if they were at home. There are no jobs for those people in Zimbabwe because most of the white farmers have either been murdered of left because their farms were taken. So there is no food in Zimbabwe nor jobs.

I don't blame the South Africans for wanting the foreigners out but the way they went about it was inhuman. However, at least maybe this will mean that Zimbabwean will take a stand to their government. Also the good thing in the long run maybe will be that after all the Zimbabweans have left they won't be able to blame anything on us and only their ignorance and greed!

This is an act of frustration that the people should actually be directing at their government. Yes, those people that they voted into power because they were not white.  Now things are not running any better, for many actually worse, than in apartheid times.  The people feel that their chosen government has neglected and failed them, and feel the need to blame someone for their bad situation.  What better people to pick on than those who do not belong in South Africa ??

And why do not they not complain about their chosen government´s poor performance?  Because they would rather have a black ruling party than let a bunch of whites run their country!!

What most of the South Africans seem to have forgotten is that Zimbabwe was the country that supported their chosen leaders in their "struggle" many moons ago.  A poor lot of thanks the Zimbabweans are getting when their people are in an even worse situation than the South Africans are.

Well as you probably know humans are incredibly self-centred beings. As soon as a group of people they do not know comes into their country and is further weakening the economy they believe it means they have a right to get rid of them. Because they are so foreign to them, they eventually no longer have feelings of sympathy towards the needs of those people and focus solely on their own.

I think not, was Martin Luther King a savage? All he wanted was equality and a more race blind society.

Was Mandela a savage? He too wanted to bring democracy to all not just 20% of a population of millions.

Biologically your statement is ridiculous for it holds absolutely no scientific ground. The only difference between whites and blacks is due to differing amounts of melanin and slightly differing facial anatomical features due to environmental differences.
