  1. i dont smoke weed anymore but i use to drink and smoke weed, weed is something that should be allowed and drinking is..worse by alot. weed calms you makes u mellow alcohol makes you do S**t u cant remember

  2. weed is addictive and alcohol isn't unless you go too far. but try to avoid both.

  3. they are both drugs to me

  4. I think both are equally bad, because both cause addiction and kill brain cells, which can cause mood disorders and possible mental retardation.  Also, they both s***w your body up, either by pickling your liver (alcohol) or causing serious lung problems (weed).  Both can kill people too, whether you are driving over the influence or if you O.D.  They are also both extremely expensive, and with inflation today they cost more than ever.  They can also put you in jail, either by drunk driving or public intoxication, or with weed being found in your possession at any time (because it's illegal).  Both also create addictions that are hard to break, and the withdrawal symptoms that can range from nausea and vomiting to all-out seizures.  So, in my opinion, both are equally bad, and the fact that one of these is legal doesn't alter my opinion at all.

  5. Sounds to me like you have a research/writing assignment and you want us to do it for you.

The Internet is loaded with great information on your topic; you'll need to sift through it some. Start with Wkipedia, and use the "references" list at the bottom of the articles. Read, take notes, and then come up with your own decision.  Check out sites like NORML,

If you want my unqualified opinion, I think it's important to note that both alcohol and marijuana use are associated with a whole lot of illegal (and stupid) human activity. There must be something to that.

Meanwhile, moderate alcohol use is shown to have positive health effects.  Seventeen shots is not moderate alcohol use.

Pot and Alcohol both can cause you to s***w your diet up.  Pot is an appetite stimulant ("the munchies") and alcohol has almost as many calories per gram as fat (7, compared to 4 for sugars and proteins).  Both substances are shown to be psychologically addictive, and alcohol at least (and the jury's still out on pot) can cause physical dependency.

It might also be noted that a bag of weed costs about $50-60 (one a week? more?), and the average guy who goes to happy hour regularly spends about $300-500 a month doing so. So you might consider wasteful spending.

If you're wondering which is worse, is that so that you can do whichever one of them is less bad?  If you are already comfortable with the idea that both are unhealthy, then don't do either one.

  6. Both are very bad if done to excess. The effect they have also depends on the person. Though I have done both, I will not touch weed. My brother who smoked for 7 years and dealed it also refuses to touch it.

Weed is a somewhat of a psychedelic and a stimulant. While it can give a sense of happiness, it distorts your sense of time, ability to think, and slightly distorts your motor skills. In my case, it caused paranoia and agitation. I would smoke and hate being around people. My brother had to be hospitalized because of a reaction to the mixture of aderol and pot. For both of us, it impaired our ability to think even long after being stone was gone.

Alcohol can also be devastating. The drunk feeling is toxification of your body. Constant bindge drinking can destroy your liver.  You risk your life if you drive drunk. Some people can become very angry. Alcohol can be addicting and addiction comes with an extremely high price.

  7. both kill brain cells and cause short term memory loss. alcohol destroys ur liver. and weed kills ur lungs.

i would suggest that alcohol is worse because u can OD on it and u cant OD on weed.

  8. smoking. each cigarette takes away a day of your life.

  9. If you were to ask me this 20 years ago, I would say drinking was worse, but now....I say both.  I can't remember c**p because of the weed I smoked, and yeah, I used to drink,(ALOT).  I have grown up and don't anymore.  In fact, the only time I really drink is when we camp, and that is maybe 2 or 3 wine coolers over the course of 3 days...

  10. Actually, yes, marijuana IS addictive.

um. i think that they are both the same, but alcohol is more addicting.

but i do both, so i`m all good.

  11. Depends.....do you want to die of cancer or cirrhosis?  Maybe an auto-accident if you drink and drive or drive high.  Or perhaps die in prison for killing someone else while drinking while drunk or high?

Are you trying to decide on which vice is for you?

  12. smoking weed has its benfits to your health where as alcohol does not, Marijuana  does not produce toxins that kill brain receptor or cells where as alcohol does.and it does not wear them out as other drugs may. There is no evidence that marijuana use causes brain damage.

Marijuana does impair short-term memory, but only while your high.It has also been used for thousands of years for medicinal purposes and is still prescribed to patients to this day.Marijuana is also not habit forming and does not induce a 'hangover'.

the short term effects of alcohol are dizziness, talkativness, slurred speech, disturbed sleep, nausea, and vomiting.Hangovers include fatigue, thrist (consumtion of alcohol causes dehydration), headache and nausea.

extensive alcohol abuse will produce withdrawal symptoms such as severe anxiety, tremors, hallucinations and convulsions.consuming large amounts of alcohol, can lead to permanent damage to vital organs such as the brain and liver and mothers who drink alcohol during pregnancy may give birth to babies that suffer mental retardation and other irreversible physical abnormalities.

if you weigh up the pros and cons alcohol has a far worse effect on the human body that weed does.

    hope that helps

  13. alchohol.  drunk driving, drunken rage, liver damage.  weed= hungry, happy, sleepy
