Whats worse die in a burning building or drown?

Question

loads of people keep saying to me if you had to die one of these ways which one of these would you choose or what's worse?

be set on fire

or drown?

please don't give nasty answers and i hope this does not offend any one it only a question.

drowning quick and easy. burning reminds of the holocoast it's knowing that you will be fried alive!!! no easy task. What if you get rescused and have to live with serious degree burns, scars, grafting your skin, No thanks.

I'd much rather drown, death by burning especially or smoke inhalation would be absolute torture. I might be wrong but I've always thought drowing must be harder to do as well. I'd rather drown because it'd be totally my fault and I wouldn't want anyone or anything blamed for my death, whereas with a fire, it's nothing to do with the victims except coincidence (unless arson), and once you're trapped, you're trapped, there's nothing you can do. Burning would be slow and absolutely agonising. I'd rather it was in the fresh air as well! Ooh feeling creeped now lol.

I'd pick drowning.  I hear it's terribly painful to burn to death, but then again I've also heard that the smoke inhalation could kill you before you actually burn.  Still, I pick drowning.

Drown because at least my body will be in one piece until i decompose under the ground and used as fertilliser for the soil

Well in your original question, you said die in a "burning building" which would probably be better than "being set of fire" or drowning because you'd probably die of smoke inhalation and that'd be > burning / drowning.

Who would want to be burned alive? That involves too much pain. I'd rather die by drowning. Definately would rather not being able to breathe over being burned alive.

Burning would be worse, it would hurt more and also take longer for you to die probly . . would rather drown personally if i had to choose lol

I have asked the same question before to my friends and they all say they'd rather drown but personally I'd rather burn!! The thought of not being able to breath freaks me out!

I think drowning would be worse because you KNOW that you cannot breathe and that as soon as you open your mouth you will begin drowning, whereas with a house fire one usually passes out from the carbon monoxide poisioning before they start to burn, so they aren't "awake" when they die.

I would rather die in a fire.
