i think that the first one becuz losing to the team that did, the criticizing lasts wat? a day or two (i.e. wen the lakers lost to the T-wolves, and that was quickly forgotten) but if you hav that record, you hav to deal w/ it the hole season and offseason... and if u suk the next year.. guess wat... TWO years, so i say losin to the teamthat lost 72

I'll say loosing to a team with 72 losses.

Similar case would be Dallas loosing to Warriors.  It's not exact but Dallas will never forget about that series.

Maybe another scenerio would be if a team is fighting for a play-off spot with 50 wins and lost the a 72 losses team and didn't make to play-off.  Now that will sting for a long time.

Losing 72 games, because that means you only had 10 wins in a season.  Losing to a team with 72 wins, means they have 10 wins on the year atleast, so you aint a loner.  Could have just been a fluke game or a giveaway game late in the season so starters can rest.

Also, losing 72 games means you had a horrible season for 6 months opposed to 1 game.  Well i guess it aint that bad, one of your wins probably was against that team with the 72 loses. lol

Losing 72 games in a season. Just because a team loses a lot, doesn't mean it can't beat the better teams once in while. I remember the Celtics of the 06-07 season beating the Mavs. Does that mean the Mavs sucked? No, it just means that they weren't that great that one day and/or the Celts were playing better.

No one remembers their team losing to a bad team. Everyone remembers their team losing 72.

losing 72 games in a season is probably worse.  72 losses you have no chance of winning the championship.  at least even if you lose to that team once, but win 72 games you could win the ring and it would just be one embarrassing lost, just another stone.

I think losing to a team with 72 losses is worse if your team has like 50 or 60 wins in a season. But if you're like a 20 to 25 win team it would not be as embarassing as much.

losing 72 games in a season, i would hate to play for a team that  i know one wins 1 out of every 8 games. As a fan I wouldnt even watch a game knowing my team would win once every 8 games. At least if you lose to a 72-loss team it could just be a bad game with a off-night and you could easily bouncebak. The Celtics almost lost to the Timberwolves twice(NBAs worst team) but ended up as the Champs. Itd be boring and miserable to watch or play for a 72 loss team

I think you know that the answer is its worse to lose 72 games than to get beat by that team but win more games overall.
