  1. Having s*x doesn't not effect the way the day after pill works. I know someone who took this before and was VERY sick afterwards and had terrible headaches. Why would you put yourself throught that and not stop the previous destructive behavior. How long after she took the day after pill did they have s*x? If it was only a day or two then there should be no problem. If it is more that 10 days I would say she needs to return to her obgyn and discuss her options with them. The day after pill is a hormone that is taken orally, having s*x does not hinder a hormone in your blood stream.

  2. Well, the morning after pill (not the day after pill) shoulden't be used as a contraceptive! If they want to continue having s*x and not get pregnant SHE should get on the pill and HE should use condoms.

Yes..having s*x a second time WILL screwup the pill process. thats if she was even pregnant to begin with! If she has just had s*x again then she's upped her chances of falling pregnant.

None of this means she will fall pregnant, because for 1. he needs to climax (pre-*** can get you pregnant but its unlikely)

    2. IF she wasen't ovulating then she wont be pregnant.

So stop worrying about your *friends* its their problem...not yours!

  3. Some people never learn.

  4. She should be fine!  She should also go get on birth control instead of being so careless!

  5. The day after pill is a high dose of birth control pill which basically in a nut shell stops the ovulation process. She should start her period 4-10 days after taking the pill. If not then she should test after that. Also, some people don't like to use condoms because it is an interruption and blah blah... maybe suggest a planned parenthood or pregnancy clinic for birth control. You don't have to have a parent's consent and usually it is free or relatively inexpensive. Best of luck. I hope everything turns out well for them.
