Whats wrong with America now??

Ok now everyone says that skin color is just skin color no differences just skin color and that's what I believe but why does America still act like there more than just color I don't get it America whats wrong with you? People claim that they ant racist but still they act like theres a difference other than color

There is a difference; it's called culture.  However, there is no reason for racism since America was founded on being a melting pot.

Being racist is a learned behavior.   I do not believe that people are born racist.

There is a difference with all people even within the same race. The problem is that we are taught that anyone that does things that is aside from main stream is considered an outcast because they are different. It not all based on color. If you think that racism is the only thing dragging this country think again. Think about the discrimination laws. Then again if you are not exposed to it then you will never understand it. Example. I met a white male who never seen a black person a day in his life until he joined the military. He was from Iowa. He said he only new what his grandparents and the news had taght him. Well he endded up being the best of friends with his black co-worker and realized that he was shown only negative images of blacks. And to not know any he was never afforded the opportunity to see any positives.

True, I experience that all the time where I live and I'm not even close to the south are society is completely messed up!! I think it will be hard to overcome those certain aspects of America!

We are not racist it just is it is kind of hard to believe because a lot of black ppl in certain areas like southern California there is alots of gangs ect. We dont want to judge it is just kind of hard not to if they act wrong
