Whats wrong with Indian players in last match ? and what u think what will be the result of next macth ?

Without Sreesanth Indian bowling looks ordinary.He brings some sting into the attack.Kumble should retire.

India played poorly and unfortunately everything went wrong for the team. For one Zaheer didn't seem 100% fit and when you play only four regular bowlers it will be difficult to restrict the opponents within the striking range. Karthik is a decent player but he failed badly both in wicket-keeping as well as in bating. We always expect winning performance from our spinners but they were taken to the cleaners while Sri Lankan spinners bowled wonderfully well. Other than Laxman none of the batsmen made any efforts to fight back.

Despite all these I am sure that the next mach will be very different and india will turn the tables on the Sri Lankans. There is no way in the world that Sachin and his lieutenants will take things lightly. We will see a different ball game this time. India will win.

sri lanka is too good for india. this is what happens, people get so emotional whenever their team wins, and then face the reality when their team is completely thrashed.

they were quite confident of their own abilities and try to smother spin in casual manner. they thought because of Mendis,..they could tackle muralitharan easily and perished,.Surprisingly, the famed Indian batting line was jeopardized by the deadly & subtle combination of Murli and Mendis. ~

if India decides of dropping some of the older non-performing players.,...Then,..2nd test might go on for 5 days and most probably,.Sri Lanka wins in a thriller~

India just weren't good enough on the day, but I guarentee they will make a super effort next test, & I think it will be a much closer match. The fury of their disappointed fans will straighten out their thinking & get them to look seriously at dropping some of the older non-performing players.

The fact is that nothing went right for the Indian players in the last match. First, the Indian bowlers weren't upto the mark, and their poor display enabled Sri Lanka to pile up a huge total of 600 runs, with 4 of their batsmen reaching triple figures. Considering that Murli and Mendis did so well, our spinners-Kumble and Bhaji should have done better to restrict Sri Lanka at a lower score.

Next, it was the turn for the batsmen to mess things up. They were already under considerable psychological pressure while chasing the huge total. They didn't play sensibly, and gave away early wickets, which furthur increased the pressure, under which they collapsed. 2nd innings was even more horrible for them, because the pressure was even more.  Lastly, the famed Indian batting was jeopardized by the deadly combination of Murli and Mendis. Muralidaran turned out to be a nightmare for them,  as even the best players of spin were unable to read his deliveries. I think the Indians lacked confidence in the 2nd innings after being shattered in the 1st innings, and was outsmarted by Sri Lanka both batting and bowling departments.

I have a feeling that the outcome of the next match would be something different. It's definitely a tough job to beat Sri Lanka at their home, but our players will hopefully fight back strongly  in the next test. That's the nature of the Indian team. They always bounce back after being thrashed. Most of our experienced players have played Murli before, and they should try to sort him out, so that atleast some prestige can be redeemed in the next test starting from 31st July.
