  1. America was built with God, guns, and guts,,,,,,,,three concepts that are alien to the Democratic "leadership".

  2. That argument would be so much better if less gun owners were racist (and communist for that matter).

  3. But then what is it when you cling to guns & religion; in addition to racism and communism?

Is that just considered a, "GOP Thang"?

  4. True Obama does know how to frame a debate he can also remember things and doesn't need Viagra.

  5. Its a free country, cling all you want, but that does not make you better than those who don't, only more arrogant and self righteous.

  6. It is our guns and religion that protect the left. Ungrateful bunch. Do they suppose that they can ward off the enemy with words and daisy's. Ask those 3rd world nations about lost freedoms. Living under the gun from an oppressive government. How about Cuba for example. No guns and no religion.

  7. It's the idea behind the reason he said it that bothers me.

Obama's ignorance goes deeper than the ignorance of racism.  His ignorance is deep enough to prevent him from leading, because he obviously does not even understand the lives of the people he seeks to lead.

We don't all live in big cities near coastlines.

  8. Clinging to anything is a bad thing.  What does it mean to cling to something?  It means that you've lost control over the direction of your life, and as a result you desperately hang onto a few things, magnifying their importance in your eyes until those things crowd out everything else.

This is easy to translate to things that have nothing to do with guns or religion.  If someone was a bowling enthusiast, it's easy to imagine that the loss of his job and the impossibility of finding a new one would cause this person to focus much more of his time and energy on bowling, since bowling gives him comfort in an otherwise unstable existence.  Religion and guns are in and of themselves not bad things - but focusing on them to the exclusion of everything else cannot be good.

  9. Yeah, because, we all know racist don't' cling to guns and religion.(sarcasm)

Like when the KKK use to have religious revivals and hangings at the same time right?

There is no fast hard definition of someone who is racist or someone who is not racist.

  10. So the exact opposite of radical religious beliefs and guns is racism and communism? Really?

  11. Asteriod said it right!

Nothing is accomplished without guns, either in our hands, or lurking in the shadows nearby.

  12. Well said, Asteroid Camper. This country's going down the wrong path, thanks to FDR & subsequent dem regimes. Taking us away from self reliance & putting the nanny state in charge.

  13. Ask Karl Rove - he is the king of the ism's.

The three G's are divisive.  Rational people, in all parties, can only hope the latest wedge issue, Palin, fails.

  14. Cling all you want.  Don't try to legislate my beliefs though.

No Way, No How, No McCain.

  15. figures white people are trying to paint our first black president as RACIST
