  2. Maybe you just don't have so much self-confidence. Talk to your mom and dad about it and maybe see a psychologist and talk about it with him/her. Say that when you first walk in to class...and when everybody looks at you, you don't look at them back.

  4. just simple answer, maybe you don't know the answer? because why or what are you afraid of if you know the answer. another you should be confidence to anything to be able to overcome your Nervousness..

  5. Nothing is wrong with you, and I can't understand why you would think that anything is wrong with you, as a large percentage of people feel the same way.  Maybe you should try discussing your feelings with some classmates, ask them how they feel.  You might be surprised.  

  6. When I am nervous, which everyone gets nervous in social situations, I pretend I am someone else. Like Tiger Woods, or Madonna. I pretend that everyone is going to like me and want to see me.

    If it is in a sport or performance, I use the nervousness to say to myself: This is what you have been practicing / rehearsing for. Use the nervousness like adrenalin. It can make you better. Good luck.

  7. Do you feel the same way in social situations? Like, do you feel nervous around people at the grocery store, for example? Or is this just a school thing? If it's something that happens wherever you are, that you just don't feel comfortable around other people, you could be dealing with social anxiety. Depending on how severe it is, some people take medication to help them be able to be around other people.

    Maybe talk to your doctor, if it's something you're concerned about and you don't think it's just nerves or figuring out where you fit in.... normal teenage stuff. (I'm assuming you're a teenager because you're in school.)

  8. it seems like low self esteem

    i use to have that problem. with eye contact, look at the person's nose. in the middle of the nose it looks like you're looking at their eyes from their view.. but you're really not ;]

    with walking into class don't concentrate on people. look at the wall for instance and make that your focus while walking to your seat (make sure you don't bump into anything!)

    when people look at you just imagine they're admiring you. Some people think people stare beause they're ugly or whatever. Don't think like that.

  9. Thinking too much, everyone gets nervous. It's part of life. If you didn't get nervous that would be mean you're not alive. =)

    It's not gonna change over night but try inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth when you're most nervous. Big deep breathes, it can calm anyone down. Just focus on your breathing instead of thinking about the other people thinking about you. Good luck. Stay true.
