  1. If your liek my Mom, When she try's to sleep and She has a hard time Because Her mind is constantly Thinking about what she has to do the next day. Its the first of school and you probly have ALOT of things going on. It can also be caused by Stress, So if you have alot to do during the day, that plays a Major Factor in it, It just wont let your Brain Shut down.

  2. I would suggest going to your doctor for a check up just to make sure everything is okay. Oh when your going to sleep put some music on to relax you.

  3. you might have insomia, and too much on your mind!!!  Go to a doc and see if they can diagnose

  4. Well, I would - at the least seek out a nutritionist or school nurse and ask about your diet.

They will ask you to write down what you eat and drink for a few days or weeks and then review that. You may drink alot of soda or coffee and not think about it.

If drink/eat alot of citrus and not get alot of iron to compensate (Citrus juice and cause Iron to be removed from your system and you could have anemia)

If you feel like you can't sleep that could be caffeine from soda or other drinks.

But I found a nutritionist was amazingly helpful, I also keep away from excess amounts of sugar to avoid mood swings.

As far as taking care of your father, you're awfully young to be having to deal with such a problem, and you need to make sure you make time for yourself, for school and force yourself to find and nurture a couple of close friendships, which are immensely helpful for emotional support.

In a similar situation (not exactly though) I found this is challenging because not alot of teens or even younger adults can deal with serious situations that well, or deal with people that deal with these situations.

I wish you good luck and hope a doctor has good things to say.
