Whats wrong with me ?

Whenever i have gas, my lower right side has a dull ache, it's never happened before, somebody said it might be appendicitis but wouldn't the pain stay even if i had gas?

What else could be the problem, or is it really appendicitis?

don't worry--it is probably just the gas.  Gas displaces itself to funny places.  You can feel dull or very intense pain in your tummy, even way up in your chest and shoulder.  I really think you'll be fine.  Usually appendicitis is a VERY intense pain in your right stomach area--so intense you bend over to ease the pain, but it doesn't help.  You can always go to the doctor, but beware--I've done this before thinking it was appendicitis and it was just gas-very embarrassing!
