i have a lightning audio 750 watt amp and i had it hooked up in my truck with a sorche amp wire kit. the kit was fine and worked good. the fuse inside it was a purple 40a MAXI fuse. its a smaller one. i blew the fuse and i havent been able to find the fuse anywhere! i went back to where i got it and all they had was the huge 40a fuse. i tired a diff. hook up kit with a 90a everything hooked up(ground,REM,+12volt) first i hooked up the ground. next the REM/ then i hooked it up to the positive. when i did this made a poping noise and blew both fuses in the amp. i replaced them and did the same thing again . i was told that if i blew my amp there would be stuff all over the inside of the amp and there isnt. what is wrong with my amp?

4.something is touching the wrong place in amp
