Whats wrong with my chameleon!?!!?

Question

I bought a chameleon a few months ago, and it was smooth skinned, you could kinda see its ribs when it breathed heavy, but now it appears to have bumps under the skin. Could it be a parasite? Idk how It could have gotten them. I feed it crickets, that I buy from petco or petsmart.

When I touch the bumps it doesn't feel like somethings under there, it just feels like skin..

Please help? :)

I am posting this in response to your chameleons lump... to me it sounds like an abcess(sp?) he or she may have been cut by a cricket some how while eating and it swelling up with puss. you must have it drained immiedietly. i had this happen to my female just recently and had to go to the vet and get it drained several times, but she was healthy all the way through it. think of it as a really bad pimple that needs to be popped. do no try it yourself with out some more instructions on how exactly to do it. hope everything goes well. You need a VET or it could get infected and die. I hoped i helped.

Is it possible that it just got "warty" skin like some toads? I wouldn't know of anything else, unless it got a disease... Maybe try looking this up on google?

well u know what i had a chamelon and it had farting umps it will go away soon u have to give it white castle
