  1. Although I cannot give you a diagnosis on anything, I think that your cockatiel's wing started healing incorrectly. The bones may have fused at the wrong spot and are now causing the lump on her wing. I would get her to a vet ASAP so they can fix this before it's too late! Good luck!

  2. Im not sure exactly where the bump is on your cocaktiel, but on one of my cockatiels i felt a bump at the top sorta of on the back but near the wing. I was worried so i felt the other side and the other side had the lump in the same spot. I checked my other cockatiel and he had the exact same thing in the same spot aswell. i got worried and thought they were both going to die but then i checked my aunties cockatiel and she had the same thing on both of her wings too. i was still concerned so i checked my nephews cockatiels wings and he had it as well.

I dont know if yours is the same but it seems as though they are meant to have a lump there. None of the 4 cockatiels in my family, bleed though.

  3. i'm not too sure what the problem could be. she could have pulled a muscle or something but either way if she's picking all the feathers off that certainly means somethings wrong. if u want ur bird to live as long as possible, take her to a vet . money shouldn't really matter if u truley love your bird.

  4. Yes, it's something to be concerned about.  Your bird sounds to be in a great deal of pain if she's picking the feathers off her wing.  Take her to an avian vet, please.

  5. Im not too sure exactly whats wrong but it sounds like you birds wing has swollen up prior to the lump, maybe your bird has chipped or bruised a bone so it has swollen. YOU DEFINENTLY HAVE TO TAKE IT TO A VET IF YOU REALLY WANT YOUR BIRD TO LAST A LONG TIME!!

  6. It sounds like your bird has a ingrown feather or feathers. It could have bruised the wing and caused the ingrown feather then. You need to find a avian vet.
