Whats wrong with my computer? i'm just using it then suddenly the screen goes black?

its still on but it goes black then i move the mouse and its ok again

then it goes black again

what should i do?

if you are using Windows Xp then "Open Control Panel > go to Display > Go to Screen Savers> Select none in the drop down list> select power> at the option "turn off monitor" select Never at the drop down list. Hope this solves your problem.

your monitor or any connection might have a loose connection or you might have set your pc to sleep/screensaver too fast. try to change your mouse, keyboard, monitor one by one to see if there is anything is defective. then if still presist, try to troubleshoot your OS and your hardware.
