My dog is about 6 or 7 years old. Shes overweight, her previous owners made her like that. She's on a diet right now. It seems like her joints are hurting her. She still walks a lot. She just struggles getting up and laying down a bit. Sometimes she has a bit of a hard time walking up or down the stairs. What could be wrong? This has been going on for quite some time now.

  1. its probly not her legs myy dog has back problems witch causes joint pain in her legs

  2. It sounds like she may have hip displaysia. Your vet can make the proper diagnosis and prescribe her medication to make her more comfortable. Love her up!!

  3. She could have arthritis, or dysplasia, any number of things.  Chances are her weight has put a big strain on her joints.  Talk to your vet about medication that will make movement less painful for her--this will help her move around more, and help loose more weight.  Good luck!

  4. Displaysia....save yourself the time and money and have the dog put down. The dog will become more and more of a burden as time goes on.

  5. try cod liver oil and make sure she looses weight . get her checked at the vets aswell
