  1. Hi. He has indigestion. Like you said there was string coming out of it thats p**p.  This could be fatal because fish are gentel and anything can impact theri quality of life. Feed it green peas, feed him only the peas until he starts swimming normally. The other fish will benefit from it as well so don't worry if they get some.(if you have more than one fish) Also be careful not to overfeed.

  2. that sounds exactly what happened to my fish.

    but its nothing good.

so before i tell you let me say this, it could just be pregnancy if this is all happening. go to the vet. or go on google and search (your fishes type) pregnancy. and what its doing to mean it is pregnant.

but when my fish had those effects, it ended up she was dying.

shes had it for quite a while and we didnt know what  was happening.

then the next morning, it finally died. :\

  3. it's either dieing, hurt, or it is constapated.

you need to boil a pee for about10 min and set it in the tank and let the fish peice on it for about 24 hours and then take it out.

if it's dieing i cant help you

and if it's hurt go to your pet store and see what they can give you to help it

  4. just to warn u when that happened to my fish...he died

  5. well if it is pregnant than you need to go buy a net to keep her in so if she does have babies the other fish wont eat them

  6. It sounds like your fish is ill.  Sometimes a long white stringy discharge can be an indication of Hexamita.  This can be treated with Metronidazole.

Unless your fish is a livebearer, like a guppy or swordtail, fish don't get pregnant, they lay eggs.

A swollen belly can be from dropsy - usually the scales stick out from the fish and when you look at it from above, it looks like a pinecone.

    Unfortunately, dropsy is usually fatal.

  7. White poo is usually a sign of internal parasites or a bacterial infection. Swimming funny can be from high nitrites in the water poisoning the fish. Only medicated food can treat the inside of the fish. A water change can treat the water.

  8. I think it's swim bladder. Strange as it sounds try feeding it some shelled peas, it helps. You can also buy a swim bladder cure from pet shops which you add to the water and clears it up. Swim bladder affects their balance so that is why your fish is struggling to swim downwards and floating to the sides. If her belly is quite big she could be pregnant but swim bladder can also make them bloated so she might not be.

  9. Are your fish tropical Fish?

Maybe they have swimbladder. You can buy treatment from a local pet shop.
