  1. hold on loosely don't grip so tight you need to check out joecartoon.com and watch kung fu grip.  this is not the way to treat you pet.  take him to the vet

  2. Maybe he's nervous hes going to be taken away from his habatat agian  , aww.. try picking him up more and making it feel comfortable. But then agian it could be sick or getting old see a vet AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

just to be sure its okay

hopee it works out for you.

  3. That is just normal. I also have guinea pigs.

  4. When your pets express difficulty breathing you should definitley go to the emergency vet. Please take him now-but call them first in case there is something they can do in the mean time.

  5. OBVIOUSLY YOU NEED TO TAKE HIM TO THE VET.

  6. Dont ask us, take him to the vet love.

  7. This is definitely not normal. Did you see an EXOTICS vet? Regular cat/dog vets don't usually know anything about the care of guinea pigs.

Gasping for air could be a sign of pneumonia or could indicate heart problems. Both of these conditions can be cured with medication if you catch it early enough.

Why he is biting his left hand could only be determined by a vet. Maybe its a nervous reaction to the pain he's in when you pick him up or his foot may possibly be injured.
