  1. Dont think it would be this but ...

Is the area going bald and is it itchy?

Becayse if it begins to look anything like this - please go to vets as mine had ringworm and it was horrible. From your description it doesnt sound like this - but its a horible thing to see your piggy go through and would rather check than ignore.

  2. Does it look anything like this? http://www.guinealynx.info/eyes.html#pea

My piggy had this and had to have it removed. In MOST cases it doesn't need to be treated, but his was a bad case.

  3. probobly just a bite

  4. Guinea pigs can get eye infections, mites and ringworm. I suggest taking the guinea to the vet. Anything strange should not be left another day as suggested.

Rabbits can also cause eye wound tothe guinea pig by over washing its eyes as well as hay sticking in the guinea pigs eye

  5. This could either be a big bite or a problem when insects see a animal that is not a human they tend to bite it to find out what animal it is but it could also be a problem like a sickness or even spotted rash (that's where one spot appears on your animal and acts like a rash) Watch he for a little to see if she is scratching it,If it gets bigger tomorrow i would take it to your local vet

  6. Could be mites, fungus or scurvy http://www.guinealynx.info/hairloss.html

You shouldn't be housing a rabbit and guinea pig together:

  7. it could just be a bite. have you used 'spot-on' on your animals? to stop the insects biting them,.

leave it untill tomorrow but if it is still there or has gotten bigger since today, i9 would take her to the vet..

  8. Is the spot in the eye or on the fur part outside the eye???Inside the eye it's a poke injury from hay or something.Outside could be a bite or a mange lesion.

Guinea pigs should never be kept with rabbits.NEVER.

How long have they been together?

There are certain infections that rabbits are carriers of.they don't bother the rabbit but can be potentially lethel to the guinea pig. These are usualy intestinal infections or respiratory infections. If they have been together for a long time-well then the guinea pig is now immune to anything the rabbit carries.

    Also,

But as the rabbit gets older they get very aggressive-both sexual  and territorial type aggression. They guinea pig is always the loser.Eventually they kill the guinea pig. They spot you see could be a bite.
