Whats wrong with my i-pod nano?

I own an i-pod nano, its regestered as a windows i-pod, i plugged it into another windows computer and its says its a mac i-pod and it cant play my music even thiugh its an authorised computer, i ejected it and tried again on the same computer and it said it was corrupted, my original windows is being repaired, will i have to reset my i-pod or will it still come up as a mac i-pod or corrupted i-pod or will it be fine?

and is it just the comouter or is it the i-pod its self because i want to know if my computer has a bug.
