Whats wrong with my ipod?

i have an ipod touch and i have just encoutered to problems that are fine now i just want to know if i should worry about anything-

1. my ipod was playing music but i culdnt hear it through the earphones i have the officail ipod earphones-i unpluged it and then plugged it bak in and now it works should i worry?

2. and my ipod restarted out of nowhere i was listening to music and play an app(tris) at the same time and then my ipod just restarted without me pressing anything is there anything wrong there?

1. get some new earphones

2. restore your ipod.

is it jailbroken? lol that could also be the problem too.

well idk about number 2 but number 1, either your headphones are going out or the connection might have got pulled out just enough so it doesnt get yanked out, but you can't hear anything.
