Whats wrong with my ipod touch?

my ipod froze up (maybe overheated) when i was mowing lawns. i got it shut off but now it won't hold battery life and i can't get the wifi to work.

try restoring it on itunes. that hapened to mine and the guy at the apple store said since the ipod touch cam out(over 1 year ago) they have only replaced 1 battery. he said its a program error,the restore worked for me, so give it a shot and see what happens. if it dosn't work go to the apple store
