  1. Kittens tummies are very sensitive. Are you using the same food all the time? If I change my kittens food, he gets the runs, and whines a lot about it also! He is 18 weeks old. I also find he is constantly hungry, but the vet has looked him over, and there is nothing wrong. I also have a 2 year old cat who was exactly the same, but now his eating has slowed down a lot. It doesn't sound as though there is anything wrong with him, they're just like little piglets when they're young!! As long as you are feeding him correctly, and with the same food, I wouldn't worry! Good luck, and I hope this helps :-)

  2. Are you giving him dry food or moist food. Try the Kitten Chow dry cat food and see if it changes. Kittens will eat 24/7.

  3. you should be giving it a kitten formula. Kittens have different nutritional needs than adult cats. Also, don't give it milk.  contrary to popular opinion, milk is very hard on a kitten's digestive system and will cause diarrhea and can even lead to death.

  4. When my cat was a kitten, I had him wormed at about 18 weeks, he had the runs for about a week. What kind of food are you feeding him, maybe he is not getting satisfied. Also, kittens eat a few million times a day.

  5. Hi Ya Oh poor thing well it could be worms. Have you tried starving it for a day, It might possibly be the cat food your feeding it. if all else fails have a word with your vets.   good luck.

  6. It depends on what your feeding him.  If you have been feeding him wet can food then change to some dry cat food like friskies.

  7. I highly recommend you take him to a vet and have them do a stool sample.  Doesn't sound normal...

  8. Kittens are very sensitive and lots of things can upset their tummies. Do you give him milk? some cats are lactose intollerant and they get sick stomachs and the runs. If you are giving him normal milk try specially formulated cat milk like the one whiskas do! Otherwise I'd bring him to the vet in case he has an infection or something

    Good Luck

  9. has he run away before? maybe he went out and got pregnant with another cat or he is dying of thirst. i don't know but call a vet or wait a while.

  10. Your kitten may just be getting used to his diet, our kitten had the same problem and the vet said it would most likely be him gettung used to the food we were feeding him. He may also be little down from his treatment at the vets even thought it was only worming and defleeing but it may take a while to get over it like one of our other kittens.

  11. A lot of times when kittens have the runs it has to do with stress.
