My cat just had kittens 3three days ago & she only feeds them whenever I put them in a room 2gether & close the door. So sometimes I dnt even know if theyre getting fed. & she barely stays w| them to keep them warm. [Ive resorted to heating water bottles & wrapping towels around them to keep the kittens comfy.] Obviously somethings wrong. But what & how can I fix it?

  1. take them to the vet they will look after them .they will give them back

  2. the moms probably tyred try giving her a break go to walmart and buy some kitten formula trust me they sell it and keep going with the heating pads

  3. My cat stayed with her kittens non stop for 2 weeks, even caught her walking around with the in her mouth as she wanted to be in the bedroom with her kittens.

If your unsure of her feeding the kittens, get kitten milk and a kitten bottle, warm the milk an feed them.

  4. Not all pet moms want to do the motherhood thing.  This is often seen in pets that have their first litter.  Your new moma is one of those cats.  It's good you noticed early on and are compensating for her.  Keeping them warm is crucial.  Since you're not sure if they are getting enough milk, you will need to get some milk supplement for the kittens and make sure they are fed every few hours.  Make a feeding schedule with someone else so that you don't have the whole burden.  When they kittens are about 10-12 days old, start massaging their a**s with a warm cloth to stimulate them.  After the first 3 weeks, it gets easier.

Begin socializing your kittens early by cuddling them often

Please get your moma spayed now

  5. Yes, you definitely need to feed the kittens if you aren't sure that they are getting enough milk.  Petsmart or your Vet should have some formula.  Although, it would be best for the kittens if their mom could just take care of them.  For now, confine the mother cat to the same room with them so that her instincts will kick in. Some cats just aren't very good mothers, but if you can get her to take care of them when she is in the room with them - do that for the next few weeks.  If you have any further complications or think she still isn't looking after them, call your Vet - they may need to be transferred to a hospital where they would have around the clock care and perhaps stay in an incubator until they are a little bigger.

  6. i have to girl cats called persia and brownie. brownie had kittens 9 days ago and my cat persia also had kittens 4 days ago. what you should do is buy newborn kitten milk and a small bottle that is especially made for that,[you can find the milk and the bottle in walmart] and heat up the milk inside the bottle, inside the microwave for a  few seconds until its warm. it cant be to hot or to cold it has to be just right for the kittens to drink. cause if it's to hot it can burn the kittens mouth. and after you do that give it to them. you can also carry your cat and put her right aside of the kittens and you have to make her lay down beside them and put them on her little teddys. thats what i do and it works
