Whats wrong with my knee

i hit my knee like a year ago playing basketball against someone elses knee but since then it hasnt been bothering my but if i hit it or tap my knee on the bottom it really hurts. it feelas like a crack

what is it, is it bad?

have it looked at maybe a fracture in your patella that has healed improperly or a slight tear in your meniscus...either of these would have occurred at the time of your injury and both would heal on their own.
