Whats wrong with my pc? doesnt start properly?

I turn it on, then it goes to the black MS-DOS screen asking if i want to start it normally, i wait or click ok but then it automatically restarts without reaching the windows login..

  1. Jughead, your answer is redundant.

    Choosing Last Known Good Configuration is the same as using System Restore to restore to the last saved point. The different with doing it in Safe Mode is that it allows you to chose which date is best for you.

    Also, why should one completely avoid System Restore?


  2. When the list comes up, chose Safe Mode.

    When the system boots, chose "No" if you see the question, if not, run System Restore.

    Restore your computer to a date prior to the issue happening.

    Oh, and on a side note, Safe Mode looks different, that's normal.

  3. You may be experiencing a malware problem you can try out a tech support site like http://geekpolice.net

    I recommend that site because it is small and provides very very fast support.

  4. System Restore is something you should never use. On that black screen arrow up to Last good configuration that worked and press enter. You'll probably get another black screen with writing. Press enter.
