Whats wrong with my phone?

i have the Kyocera E2000 phone and metropcs service. i have had the phone for 2 months exactly. i haven't dropped it or done anything that would damage it. when ever i try to make a call i press the dial button and the phone will freeze and after a while restart. the same happens when i'm receiving a call. the phone will flash it won't tell me who's calling and will freeze and restart. any suggestions?

Do you have a friend that you can borrow a phone from for about 30 minutes to test the line, you just want to see if you can make a call from your house.

Power off the phone, remove the battery, and press the on button for approx 1 minute, this resets the system
