Whats wrong with my radio???

I have a 96 chevy blazer and every station on the radio is static but the cd player works fine. i check the antenna and its ok. what do i need to do?

If you have tried a test antenna, then your options are to have the radio repaired, or replace the radio. You can find used factory radios on eBay or a local junkyard, or get a new aftermarket radio with a mounting kit, wire harness and antenna cable adaptor.
