  1. Is it cooling down there where you live?  Is the turtle slowing down due the time of year/season?

Has it had a good souce of UVB, and proper calcium?

I'll post a link below which you can check out for common turtle illnesses/problems, and you can see if you recognize any of the symptoms your turtle is displaying.

But, reptiles are slow to show signs of illness, and by the time they are exhibing symptoms, it's usually pretty progressed.  So, if doubt, take the turtle to the vet.

If you don't already know of a qualified exotics/reptile vet, you can google “Herpetological Society” or http://www.herpvetconnection.com/ for the one closest to you.

Good luck, and I hope it's nothing serious.

I hope this has been helpful.

  2. It sounds like it may be sick. is it eating?  not eating is the first sign of sickness.  also make sure the environment is perfect... uv bulb, right temp etc.

this site may help you figure out what is wrong-

you may want to seperate the turtles because most things that turtles catch are contagious.  also up the temp in the tank.

personally i would wait another day to see if he gets better. this could be a temporary thing.  if this persists call a vet as soon as possible. its hard to nurse a sick turtle back to health that hasnt been treated early.

    hope everything goes well
