Whats wrong with my subs? everything is hooked up right. The amp has power, the speaker wires

everything is hooked up right. The amp has power, the speaker wires have power but the subs dont make any sound. I hooked a little 6x8 up to the amp and it works. so are my subs blown ? i figured they would produce some sound even if blown.

hook up the sub to your home stereo to make sure there is sound coming out of it.  sometimes when a sub is blown, the voice coil actually breaks so no more electrical contacts.  and no sound is ever gonna come out of that sub.
