Last night we turned the hot water cylinder's thermostat down from 60 degrees celcius to 50 degrees celcius. This morning we have plenty of hot water running but no cold water! We have no idea why this has happened. Help!

  1. get a plumber

  2. It sounds like you have old pipes.  A piece of rust broke loose and blocked up the cold pipe.  After a while the blockage moved.  You need a plumber to replace pipes so it won't happen again.   Next it will start happening at the hot side.
