Labrador/Chesapeakes are my favorite.

I also like bull terriers, collie dogs, dobermans, shepherds, chujuajuahs and weiner dogs.

Rottweilers can be sweat but they eat cats.

guys, she said breed. so either say mutt or mix, but don't say goldendoodle.  Sorry to say goldendoodles are not a breed.

i am in love with all breeds of dogs but i would have to say...

1.dachshunds

2.siberian huskies(their eyes are beautiful)

3.labs

i actually like mutts more than full breeds because most of the time they are more hyper and playful but i like full breed huskies cuz those are really pretty

EDIT: seriously GSD person. let people say what they want. gosh. if they want to say goldendoodle or labradoodle then let them with out saying anything.  how am i advertising? youre getting old the way you go around and  tell people 'oh thats  not a breed of a dog'.  every dog is a breed...what do you want to call it a 'mog' or something? lord. im not talking to you, youre so annoying.

It's hard to choose just one breed that would be my favorite.

I like Dauschunds, because they're really cute. I think they have nice personalities and they don't have a very annoying bark.

I'm also fond of Boxers. I like Boxers because of how much energy they have. They are fun to play with, and they make good companions.

And, the one thing I never thought I would say...I like German Shepards and Dobermans. I used to be terrified of dogs when I was younger...would scream and cover my head if I even saw a picture. And I used to be most scared of those two breeds. But we had to take care of some dogs a few years ago and there were two dogs of these breeds and they got really attached to me and followed me around, so I learned they weren't scary :) So that's why I like them :)

My favourite breed of dog is the afghan hund, who, has a disposition of a cat.  They are quite unlike the average dog in that they have independant thinking and things are done on their terms.  Any other breed is traditional loving, gentle, kind and provides unconditional love.

I had a pit bull dog which I acquired at three years of age.  He had been badly abused.  I worked with him and gradually gained his trust, affection and deep love.  He was an entirely different dog from the agressive personality that he had had, and became a really baby who lay upside down to get his tummy rubbed.

West Highland Terriers are lovely dogs and do make a good family pet.

Rottweilers can be agressive or passive according to how they are raised but, in my experience, like a pit bull, they can not be completely trusted in that they might become aggressive.

Your circustances, surroundings and financial resources should dictate the type of dog that you obtain.  Study carefully the different types of dogs before you decide on one breed.  Again, I stress a dog is a lifetime commitment for 12 - 17 years.  You must be comitted for an excellent relationship with a dog.  He or she is a member of your family.
