my favorite foods are:

kare- kare, oxtail stew in peanut sauce with vegetables

bulalo- beef leg boiled with onions and garlic until very tender, the bone marrow is a delight

goat's meat stew- stewed in a tomato based sauce w/ chili and other spices

lomi- my comfort food, thick noodles with sauce thickened with cassava starch, it also contained pork meat, pork liver, local home made sausages and meatballs topped with pork rind cracklings. the sauce is a combination of soy sauce, lime and chili. a chinese treat loved by the people in batangas, philippines

peanuts adobo- peanuts deep fried in oil with lots of garlic until crunchy but not scorched, a good munching buddy anytime, can also be laced with chili.
