Whats your fave tropical bird and why ???

My fav. tropical cage bird is without doubt the Gouldian finch because of it's brilliant colours, and it's relatively easy to breed.

My fav. tropical wild bird has got to be the Bird of Paradise, the male's courting dance is an absolute wonder.

I love them all but the grays’ seem to like to play tricks on you and then laugh at you when you fall for their jokes.  I have one gray that loves to go out in public with me and ask people, “Hey buddy! You want to buy a bird?”  After they answer, he laughs at them and says; ”Get a life.”

Wow there are so many birds I love but I would have to say that the Toucan! I love them with their colorful beaks and there simple black bodies! (Plus the yellow chest!)  They are such an amazing bird. They are so cunning and clever. There are 33 species in the rainforest which is just amazing! This is my favourite tropical bird for many, many reasons!
