Those old commercials with the goalies talking about Sundin or Fedorov are AWESOME.

There was also another NHL commercial campaign "Coolest Game on Earth" with players and different aspects of the game.  Some might remember... Adam Oates on a date being "offside", Keith Tkachuk using his stick to break into a women's car (she locked her keys inside).  There was one with Paul Kariya, Gretzy and Messier playing chess.  Ahhh, the good old days of NHL commercials.

ESPN had some great ones too.  During the "crease rule" era one commercial had Martin Lapointe stepping into the crease and "taunting the powers that be", then BOOM lightning strikes him.

The best was one with Brendan Shanahan and Sergei Fedorov.

They aired this last night, not sure whether that was the first time or not. It's a series of photographs of captains of cup winners raising the cup. It's new but it's one of the best they have ever done.
