the best one ive had is from a local thai restaurant called thai smile, its called Pineapple-Tangerine Chicken. Its SOOOO good, you can get it with fried or white rice...i always choose white. and put soy sauce on the rice. I've never seen the dish on any other menu so it must be a local specialty.

its like heaven. but i also enjoyed other dishes such as.. orange chicken, general tso's chicken was very tasty.

( i always get chicken meals cause i feel pork and/or beef are very unhealthy. and shrimp/seafood just doesnt seem to go well with the sauces and spices they use in their cuisine.)..

I've never tried any currys i really should though....

oh and chicken fried rice was good. i over did it with the soy sauce though and ruined it the first time i had it lol.

but whats some of your fav foods from asain style restaurants???

  1. Take your gf out for moo shu pork, it is a real treat.

You get plates of vegies and meat and sause, and a few "pancakes" (they're not actually pancakes they are very thin wraps but they call them pancakes).

You spoon the stuff onto the pancakes and roll them up and eat them. Its actually a fun meal and so tasty.

  2. I like it all.  There is always an asian style dish with the right flavors to suit my mood.

    Sweet/Sour Chicken, Delicious Chicken Broccoli.

Chicken Sesame, Orange Chicken, General Tsao's Chicken,

That chicken dish with the spicy Thai peanut sauce (PaDang Sauce), Kung Pao Chicken for the spicy flavor.

I could go on and on but I'll stop at these 7.

I usually always get the chicken too.

  3. Pineapple Tang Chicken sounds so good, I've never had it before.  Sounds delicious and kid friendly too, will have to try it someday!

    Thai:

tom kha gai (coconut chicken soup)

    pad see ew (noodles)

    panang curry

    shrimp with baby corn

    thai green beans

    red/green/massaman curries

    Chinese: these are "Americanized" dishes

    sweet corn chicken soup

    crab wontons

    firecracker shrimp

    kung pao chicken

    orange chicken

    noodles (lo mein, chow mein)

    schezuan eggplant

    dim sum

    Japanese:

    edamame

    sushi/sashimi

    udon, soba

    tempura

    chirashi

    yakitori

  4. sweet and sour pork ribs with chicken chow main freid rice and curry sauce

  5. I love lettuce cups from chang's or dynasty... here's my adaptation, and it's also my favorite easy meal:

1lb. ground pork( ground turkey or chicken works well too but pork is the best)

1 small bottle Lawry's teriaki marinade

a few stalks o celery (chopped corasely)

    1 carrot (shredded)

    a few handfuls of sprouts

    small can water chestnuts

    1 head o lettuce

brown meat, throw in veggies, add enough marinade to make the mixture stick together, then add a little water. Cover and let simmer until the veggies soften up just a little.

pull the leaves off of the head o lettuce as completely as possible, wash and arrange on a plate.

This is best served family style when everyone can grab a lettuce cup, spoon up some filling and enjoy.

I like serving this with some asian style veggies... family LOVES it!

  6. Thai - Pai Won Sen (It's a noodle dish)

              Spicy Mint Noodle

    They are 2 different dish.
