  1. John 3:16

    II Timothy 2:15

those are my all time favourites

  2. I hadn't noticed it was love verses that you wanted till I clicked to answer, but no matter for it is a love theme that I have.

When Jesus is saying to Peter, Lovest thou me, and continues to ask him. It is like He is asking this to me. For me the greatest thing is to love Jesus, and though I often come up short the Lord knows that in my heart I desire to love Him more and more.

I am deeply moved by the love that Jesus had for John. That had to be something almost beyond beautiful for the apostle.

And how can I not comment on the love that our Lord had for us. The suffering on the cross was the most beautiful expression of love that the world has ever known.

  3. Matthew 21:17, "And he left them and went out of the city, into Bethany, and he lodged there."

  4. Ps 72:16

That there is by far the best promise in the Bible- hands down!!!

If you know Vot, you'll know what the verse is talking about.....

  5. "Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth--

for your love is more delightful than wine"

    Song of Songs 1:2

  6. Jeremiah 29:12-13 "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

The reason it's special to me is because those are the words that comforted me after my mother's suicide 26 years ago.  Those words kept the faith in my heart and my eyes toward the lord.  I will forever be greateful to it's author.

  7. "Alcohol is for people who are DYING, for those who are in MISERY. Let them drink and FORGET their poverty and unhappiness."

(From the "Good News Bible In Today's English") PROVERBS 31:6-7

  8. Matthew 22 Chapter

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
