  1. Hi !

Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky .

    =^..^=

  2. Great Expectations by Dickens or Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky.

  3. Dracula, The phantom of the opera, and Dr.Jyell and Mr. Hyde.

  4. It would have to be East of Eden by  Steinbeck, followed very close by Jane Eyre by Bronte and the Stanger by camus.

  5. Jane Eyre

  6. My fave is Rebecca. It's mysterious, but actually romantic plot is great. And that twist in the last is really very unexpected. That's what makes Daphne Maurier one of faves. If anyone hasn't read it, I'd strongly reccommend you to read it. And The Professor, a little known work of Bronte, but really much better than any of Bronte's work, is my next fave.

  7. I have several.

    Jane Austin

    Pride And Prejudice

    Sense And Sensibility

    Emma

    Mansfield Park

    North Anger Abbey

    Persuasion

    Lady Susan

    Emily Brontë

    Wuthering Heights

    Charlotte Brontë

    Jane Eyre

    Shirley

    Villette

    The Professor

    L M Montgomery (Lucy Maud)

    Ann House of Dreams

    Ann of Green Gables

    Ann of Avonlea

    Nathaniel Hawthorne

    The Scarlet Letter

    JD Salinger

    Catcher in the Rye

This book is very good and I reccomend it.  A 1979 novel by Octavia Butler. While most of Butler's work is classified as science fiction, Kindred is often shelved in literature or African-American literature.

    Octavia Butler

    Kindred

    DeeJay.

  8. Soo many. I only read classic novels.

    Jane Eyre.

    Anna Karenina.

    Les Miserables.

    The Railway Children.

I'm currently reading Crime & Punishment (Dostoyevsky)

  9. Definitely The Idiot by Dostoevsky. I adore him. And this book involves incredible story and 2 best female characters. I like the circularity idea of the story: it ends the way it had started.

  10. This Side of Paradise by Fitzgerald... tho Steinbeck's The Pearl and The Winter of Our Discontent are up there too.

  11. Wuthering Heights
