  1. This is pretty simple. First off, get some  4 inch gary yamamoto senkos and some 1-5 size hooks. All u have to do is texas rig it.  To make it short put the hook throught the nose of the worm and pull it back out in about an inch. Slide the worm up the shank of the hook and put the hook in the back of the worm so its weedless..google texas rigs and ull get some charts id give u one but its all preference.(dark gray with flakes works extramely well)

Also try spinnerbaits..again condidtions are so important in picking the right one

go out there and have fun

  2. Dawn or Dusk, my Daiwa TD Zillion "burner" reel, Kistler Magnesium "chatterbait" 6'10" MH rod, 12 lb. P-line Halo, and a 3/8ths ounce Mega Strike Evolution jig in "Halloween" color, with a YUM 4" Craw Papi trailer in Crawfish...

Just Freaking AWESOME when a lunker hits it, and I boat it! (I bank fish too, and it would be just as exciting hauling it in.)

:D You don't have to cast too far, less than 100 feet usually. Look for cover, like downed trees, weed lines, shade, and if you feel the vibes...SET THE HOOK!!!

    Fish on!

  3. Spinnerbait

  4. get some frogs and hook them in the back leg (size 4 or 6 hook) and cast them out gently on a calm or semi-calm water and watch the show!!  Toads will work in a pinch too..

  5. if you are walking up to the lakes side you are scaring the fish away that feed close to shore

you should fish the sides (edges) from twenty feet away and just barely let your  (worms and lizzards) hit the edge knocking dust and sand in with its own entry and jiggle the rod tip making the bait jiggle then stop it and do it again take tow minutes doing it with each cast cast five feet away from each past cast and hang on

I have caught eight pounders in city lake parks using this method. What happens is they come in from the deep and stare at it when it jiggles they bite

I like gator tails and at dawn I like the colors tequila sunrise and red shad

  6. ide go with a texas rig in the summer.if the water is murky use a worm with a little color if the water is clear black is fine.myself have seen this very effective.a texas rig if you dont know what it is is a weight about five to four feet above your worm. a slider weight .most people put a leader line and have those red beads to stop the weight
