Whats your favorite lip balm?

I have very very chapped lips all the time and i use everything on my lips and nothing really works for me.....whats your favorite lip balm?

all the lip balms at origions are good but if you need it cheap go to walmart and get burts bees

I like Burt's Bees.  It makes your lips soft, but they don't feel greasy.

I really really really love Lip Smackers.

Lip Smackers are WAY better than the cherry Chapstick I used to use.

They work as a lip balm and gloss!

Burts! Just make sure you don't get the lifeguard kind (red cap) it makes your lips white!

burts bees stuff works really nice.... ... use something like blistex for cheaper though....  for instant relief... try the one with the silver ball on the end.... it rushes right in and takes away the cracks.... anything from blistex would be great for chapped-ness

I only use Burt's Bees now.

My lips peel and look awful and that chapstick is the only one that moisturizes instantly.

I absolutely love Burts Bees.  I used Blistex and chapstick before that but they seemed to dry out my lips if I didn't apply them frequently.  Another thing you can do is buy a lip pumice.  It gently exfoliates your lips and buffs away dry skin.  I like this one: http://www.marilynmiglin.com/product/lip...  

For a cheaper home remedy buy a soft bristle tooth brush, wet it, and GENTLY rub it over your lips.  Another really basic tip for keeping your lips from being chapped is to drink plenty of water.  Dehydration can make your lips dry out.

I swear by Burt's Bees replenishing lip balm and The Body Shop's coco butter chap stick, they're both AMAZING.

Okay, if you want really soft lips you have to exfoliate them just like skin! I suggest taking a wet toothbrush and GENTLY rubbing it in circles on your lips (not when they are chapped really bad, or that will hurt!), make sure you go slow or it will burn because all the blood will rush to that area and the skin is really thin.

Some people put actual lotion on their lips, not for during the day, but like when you go to bed at night. I have cocoa butter stuff and I've used that when my lips get particularly chapped cuz its kinda thick and it traps the moisture and doesn't just dry out.

Right now I use Lipsmackers Watermelon flavored chapstick in the green tube. I don't think this stuff is particularly healing, but the flavor and smell is fantastic and it gives you the type of shine lipgloss does while still looking natural.

I would AVOID lipgloss and lipstick. Lipgloss gets sticky and gross and lipstick, unless you get the expensive kind, does nothing to moisturize your lips.

Don't l**k at them all the time, because that's part of what makes them so chapped, don't pull at the skin with your teeth either, that just hurts and it can give you open cuts on the lips, which is not a good thing.

well i have a similar problem...i tried everythings.Burts Bees, Chapstick, Blistex, Alba, Sorftlips i mean everything!!! And they didnt help at all...some made my lips worse! so then i tried so-called "gloss lip balms" and those just made the problem worse! my lips were so bad! peeling and flaking! So i got a lip gloss from Victoria Secret as a gift...the Beauty Rush kind in Pinked Lemonade. I tried it and i swear i will NOT live without it! it made my lips silky soft! it lasts forever, and you can make it look really shiny or even just dewy! very very versitile! I apply it as my lip balm...even before bed at night!!  if nothing else works, try this!!

for chapped lips it's blistex- i have braces and my lips get dry and chapped al the time! it works really good and its medicated

IF your lips are really chapped like all the time DO NOT get a lipbalm with mint. Those mint balms contain mentha that really just dry your lips out more. It may feel like it is but it isn't... someone said carmex. Use that! its cheap and works!

These are the three chapstick/lip balms I use. They are awesome!

1. Burts Bee Wax chapstick/lip balm! It's awesome. You can totally feel your lips tingle when first put it on and it soothes chapped lips.

2. Carmex! That's great stuff too! :]

3. Savannah Bee lip balm! My lips felt so soft after using that stuff. :DD

Oh I love this question! I am simply MAD about Burt's Bee's lip balm and then Carmex, although people tell me that Carmex makes my lips taste bad, whereas Burt's Bees makes everyone go mmmmmm!

i like blistex mint, it lasts really long and moisturizes very well without any filmy residue. or i wouls suggest teh smiths rosebud salve, its slightly more pricier but it smells lovely and is mutlipurpose and is shiny enough to pass as a gloss

i bite my lips a lot and pick the skin off them so they look bloody and chapped all the time. yeah i know it sounds gross, i don't know why i do it. but for the past two years i've used chap stick made from hemp. it works wonders! for example my lips look really really bad towards the evening so i put it on before bed. when i wake up in the morning my lips are healed. the chap stick doesn't really have a nice taste to it. but you get used to it pretty fast. you can find hemp chap stick at a whole foods store. there's not a specific brand because i've used a few and the results have been the same (incredible). hope that helps

If you want your lips not to be dry or chapped use vaseline every night be for you go to bed and you can wear it during the day too it looks like clear lip gloss when its on.
