  1. knockout liver blow by manny pacquiao. its my favorite shot because it requires precision, power and speed. for very experienced boxers

  2. tyson uppercut. not being tall, tyson had to get in close to get good shots. Because of this, tyson put himself at risk of getting hit. His uppercut was so good that he took the risk of getting in close.

  3. #1 - left hook, it's devastating, fast, hard to see, can knockout via head or body, is easy to throw as a counter-punch without leaving you too vulnerable and does a ton of damage since it spins the head...you can also use a like a half left-hook, half uppercut to create even more angles for knockout punches

#2 - jab, super fast, great for peppering the guy, nullifying his right hand, and excellent for offense or defense

#3 - straight right hand, the heavy punch, the knockout punch

  4. jab is the most useful in my humble opinion. it is what sets everything else up in boxing. just about all boxer have or should have one. Mohamed Ali was so great primarily b/c of his lighting fast stiff jab (along with his lighting fast feet) there were fights he fought in which he only used the jab the entire time and won with it b/c it was so effective.

  5. The Left Hook

    Felix "Tito" Trinidad

no im not a southpaw, im a righty, its my favorite punch because after a good right, im in perfect position to throw it(palm facing ground, elbow a little higher than knuckle for the rooks)and put someones lights out, my left is abnormally strong

  6. Fighter 1 is quite correct.

The jab sets up everything in boxing. Watch Tyson in his prime, and watch carefully. What is his best punch? His jab. He starts every volley with it, and it works.

Now, watch his later fights. No jab. Now, he starts to lose with predictable hooks and uppercuts that people see coming.

Holmes made a whole career on that one punch. It is so deceptive because it is so fast.

The jab causes people to react, and during that reaction you can throw another punch that lands like a surprise. Without the jab, the person can see it coming.

The best boxers all have great jabs. Even Foreman used the jab a lot, and he is a straight power puncher.
