  1. I prefer Miller High Life since, of the CHEAP beers, it is the best tasting

Otherwise, when I feel like splurging I go for Sam Adams...mmm good beer!

Oh...regional..so you mean NOT mass-marketed...that would have to be Bell's Best Brown, from the Kalamazoo Brewing Company, Michigan.

  2. I really enjoy Sierra Nevada Bigfoot ale and Stout. Most of the Stone brewing Company products are off the chart good. A little pricey though

  3. Can't go wrong with a Dos Equis, although it is a pricier beer

  4. It's all about the Rogue Nation Baby!

    Mocha Porter!

  5. Miller High Life:

    The Champagne of bottled beer.

  6. Hey man, I am in Mexico and my favorite dark beer out here is called "Indio"

  7. my favorite beers are

    Celebrator Dopplebock -Germany

    Orkney Skullspliter -Scotland

    Theakston Old Peculiar -England

  8. Anchor Steam Beer from San Francisco.

  9. Newport Storm Blueberry

It's just really tasty. I drank it all the time at school in Rhode Island and I still miss it sometimes.

  10. In England  Tetley's (hand pump)

    In NZ   Tui

  11. I have two favorites from the Cleveland/Akron area

One from a brewery although not sure they are still in business -

Thirsty Dog Brewing - all kinds of beers with Dog themes  funniest is an dark beer called "Old Leghumper"  has a brilliant label with a dog in a bar, staring --- kinda lusting at two women in short black dresses with lonnnng legs -- you can see he's just waiting to get busy on their legs!!!

For drinkability - Any of the Great Lakes Brewing Company, in Cleveland that makes beers that highlight Cleveland history

Elliot Ness Amber Lager - Named after one of Cleveland's most respected safety directors who frequented the Brewpub's bar in the 1930s and, according to popular legend, was responsible for the bullet holes in the bar still visible today.

Edmund Fitzgerald Porter -- Named after the freighter that "Left Fully Loaded from Cleveland" and sank in Lake Superior on November 10, 1975 -and became subject of the Gordon Lightfoot song.

Burning River Pale Ale - named after the famed incident when the Cuyahoga River, so polluted with garbage and oil, literally caught on fire in 1969

  12. Here in Oregon, Deschutes Black Butte Porter or McMenamin's Terminator Stout.

In Ohio, if you go down to "the flats" of Cleveland, there's a brewery (can't remember the name) that has a chalkboard with everything available and the percentage of alcohol for each. Any strong porter or stout is going to be good there.
