I guess it's MacArthur Park by Richard Harris. Although columnist Dave Berry says it's the WORST song of all time...he's wrong.

        Richard Harris was the wizard in the Harry Potter films, and passed away a few years ago..

        The song is longer than Hey Jude, and takes some getting used to..It has orchestrations, and a hot jazz break in the middle that every high school pep band has to learn and perform...but what music..what a masterpiece..you'll think it's corny until the fifth time you hear it..then you'll start to get it....it was a number 1 hit in the sixties..awesome lyric passage in the middle...
