Whats your favorite surf wax?

My dad and i always use sexwax. it works great! but no matter what kind you use, wear a rashgaurd because i always get really  raw from all of the rubbing against my board.

I use Zog's s*x Wax 'base coat wax' all of the time time. When I can get it, I use Poor Boy's as my top coat, but I have a hard time finding it in shops in the northeast. Otherwise I use Sticky Bumps for the top coat. I always match the water temperature with the right temperature wax, I think it makes a big difference. I carry extra wax in  my truck (all the time) but I have been stuck in places without my wheels, and without my wax, and in a pinch, I'll use whatever I can get.

but now I use MAGMA it seriously has the best grip...

I prefer either Five Daughters or Mrs. Palmers, and in agreeance with John, matching your wax to the water temperature is important.

I use Sticky Bumps base coat, which I find really helps. And occasionally I'll use Sticky Bumps for my top coat too, its not bad stuff.

I stay away from s*x Wax (I consider it a joke) and Famous, as well as Bubble Gum. As for the eco-friendly waxes, they're okay but still need work. As much as I really do love helping the environment, they need to be perfected before I'll use them consistently. But I estimate there will be better one's created in a few years time.

i prefer either sticky bumps surf wax, or mr zogs s*x wax surf wax

mr zogs is my favorite becuz its in natural color, and doesnt pick sand up as easy as others do, so its harder to notice
