  1. One of them is The Witch of Blackbird Pond.  It's well written and has a nice love story in it, too.  I used to read it to my little sisters when I was in school - it's completely appropriate, I promise.

  2. This Lullaby by Sarah Dressen

  3. The Holy Bible.

  4. The Beekeeper's apprentice by Laurie R, King.

Sadly it's predecessors have been somewhat lacking in...not sucking

  5. angela's ashes by frank McCourt or Kindred (i forgot who wrote this one)

  6. the clique series

    elizabeth

  7. kite runner

  8. Mine while i was in school was:

Fellowship of the rings the two towers and return of the king by j.r.r. Tolkien and stardust by Neil Gainman

  9. Twilight Series!

    hands down.

    Twilight  is the first book.

    then:

    New Moon

    Eclipse

    Breaking Dawn

    :))

  10. The twilight sereies!!

    =]

  11. Eragon by Christopher Paolini is a great book.

  12. Please don't read Twilight for your book report.

Read a real book, like My Sister's Keeper or A Ring of Endless Light.

Don't fall for all the Twilight hype; it really isn't very good.

  13. twilight's a good book but its not appreciated by teachers much so i would go with the school requirement type thing might get a better grade!

  14. The Twilight series!!!! Its 1.Twilight 2.New Moon 3.Eclipse 4.Breaking Dawn

Trust me, you'll love them and it will be so easy to do a book report on any of them. This year if we do any book reports im doing it on that series!!!!

They are amazing, and they are teen level, very easy to read, you wont want to put them down!

  15. THE WINNER BY DAVID BALDACCI.

I don't care what kind of book you like, you will like this book.  It takes a few chapters to realize what's happening but mid way through you can't put it down!!!

    OR

MY REAL NAME IS LISA BY DAVID ALEXANDER.

    Wow, another great one.

  16. Here are some of my favorites:

Anything by Lucy Maud Montgomery. (Author of "Anne of Green Gables") "The Story Girl" is delightful!

Most books by Louisa May Alcott (Author of "Little Women").

"Jane Eyre" is my favorite book, however, depending on what you normally read, you may find it a little hard to wade through.

Most of the above should be available free online.

I cannot praise these books too highly.

  17. The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer is excellent.

(Artemis Fowl, " " The Arctic Incident, " " The Eternity Code, " " The Opal Deception, " " The Time Paradox)

I also love the Novels of Redwall by Brian Jacques (Martin the Warrior is my favourite, but it might make more sense if you read Redwall first.)

The Giver by Lois Lowry is great! And it's only 180 pages, so if you want something kinda short, it's a good one!

  18. Twilight Series!

    Also these ones are great:

    1)White Fang

    2) Chasing Redbird

    3) WAKE

    4) The Call of the Wild

    5) The City of Ember

    6) Uglies series

    7) BEING {kind of gross}

    8) I am David

    9) Traveling Pants Series

  19. theres a really cool book i got for Christmas a while ago, its interesting and exciting kinda like good vs. evil thing buts its totally pre-teen appropriate, its not like a romance or anything so its safe.

its called the riddles of epsilon and its one of my favorites.

  20. if only it were true by marc levy. its a realy good book about a girl in a coma and a guy that falls in love with her.

and if you want t very short book only 122 pages but my fave book in jr high. its called wonder by rachel vail, about a girl whos friends stop talking to her because of an out fit she wears to school. she goes from popular to dork in a day. is a realy cute book thats easy to read.

  21. In this order:

    1. The Godfather

    2.A Thousand Splendid Suns

    3. The Kite Runner

...I'm sure if they're teen level since all books have some disturbing images. But, if you're mature enough, then these books are AMAZING and you should really try reading them

  22. I haven't read the ever-popular Twilight series, myself, so I can't comment.  If I were your teacher, I'd advise against it, simply because it's so overdone right now.

There are several outstanding choices that fall into the classics category:

    To Kill a Mockingbird

    The Outsiders

White Fang, Call of the Wild

    Of Mice and Men

None is terribly long, but each is a powerful, compelling story in its own way.  Enjoy, and good luck on the report!
