  1. Oatmeal

    Cream of wheat

    Granola

  2. I hate cereal. I think this is really kids' food. Why should an adult eat such a soggy mess early in the morning? Yuck!

  3. Nature's Path anything. This company has been a leader in the organic vegetarian/vegan foods industry forever! Their products are whole grain, sweetened with organic fruit juice and are scrumptious. I love their Flax Plus which is a terrific source of Omegas.  their Apple Acai Granola is amazing. For quality breakfast cereals you cannot find better. They are available at Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Costco, and major Supermarkets everywhere.

  4. Cheerios in the yellow box

    Kashi Heart to Heart

    Steel cut oats

Those are my top three faves.

  5. The only ones that aren't vegetarian are frosted mini wheats and anything with marshmallows.

I love honey nut shredded wheat, organic frosted mini wheats when I can find them, Special K and a few others.

  6. organic frosted mini wheats.....they are sooo good.  i could eat them every day if only i could find them more often!!

  7. kashi 7 whole grains puffed

    shredded wheat

    all bran

    fiber one

  8. i eat any breakfats cereal because there is no meat in it so there fore i can eat it. i love fruit loops though.

  9. Muesli. I usually mix "natural muesli" with "toasted muesli" plus I add extra dried fruit (sultanas, dates, apricots, apple, goji, papaya, pear, pineapple or kiwi fruit), seeds (pepitas, sunflower, flax, almonds) and nuts (pecans, walnuts, Brazil nuts, macadamias, hazel nuts), sometimes fresh banana slices. I used to have milk in it, but now I generally have either soy milk, oat milk, rice milk or even occasionally fruit juice (the vitamin C helps with iron absorption).

It takes a fair bit longer than just pouring cornflakes from a box into a bowl, but it's well worth the extra effort.

  10. There is no meat in cereal, so why would any not be suitable? Do some have eggs maybe?

  11. I love the Kashi friends cereal and Wegmans brand puffed wheat.

Although I have two vegan friends and they eat chocolate coacoa puffs and claim they are vegan- They aways read the lables so I believe them (:

  12. Kashi: Organic Strawberry

    Muliex

Oat Bran Cereal with brown sugar

Here is a list of some possible options that you can get from the supermarket.  These products are vegan and vegetarian:

  13. BBQ Beef Crunchies

  14. oatmeal with a pat of butter, a sprinkle of dark brown sugar and a 1/4 of half and half

  15. Porridge.  I use organic oatmeal, organic fair trade raisins and soya milk.

Mix it all together the night before in an ovenproof bowl and cook it next morning for 6 mins. on 850w.

    It's great - try it!

  16. Mother's Peanut Butter Bumpers, Barbara's Puffins

Both are organic & veg-friendly, but they don't taste like "health food"- my son loves them.

  17. Many people are mentioning cereals...

so, can i defend the other side please ??

I like to start with cereal, yogurt, fruit, orange juice and toast

followed by a full english veggie breakfast of (v) sausages, eggs, mushrooms, hashbrowns, beans and tomatos.

With yet more toast and jams with my tea or coffee

Not every day, obviously. but its certainly my favourite

Not all veggies nibble at food, some of us are piglets.

edit: sorry, i've just re-read your question and you do mention cereal, sorry i mis-read it.

However, i'll leave my answer to make people hungry !!
