A land of sweeping plains

I love her far horizons

I am 14 yrs old. my fav poem is 'Where the mind is without fear' by Rabindranath Tagore. I like both the English and the Bengali versions. It inspires people to stand with their head held high and have the courage to know. It is a poem in which all Indians as well as others find inspiration. the poem is:



Where The Mind is Without Fear

WHERE the mind is without fear and the head is held high

Where knowledge is free

Where the world has not been broken up into fragments

By narrow domestic walls

Where words come out from the depth of truth

Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection

Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way

From what I've tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate
